Privacy
Billisecond website and update-service privacy.
This policy covers billisecond.com.au. It does not replace the data-handling rules chosen by an organisation running the Billisecond applications.
The website
The public website can be viewed without creating an account. As with most websites, the hosting provider may retain ordinary technical logs such as the request time, IP address, browser information and requested page for security and reliability.
Support messages
If you send a support message, we receive the contact details and information you choose to include. Do not send passwords, licence keys, SQL credentials, pairing codes or client-sensitive records. We use the message to respond to the enquiry and maintain an appropriate support record.
Software update checks
The Billisecond update service provides public release metadata and installer files. A normal update request does not need to send a user name, client name, timer record or operational database content. Standard web-server logs may still record technical request information.
Your data stays on your server
Billisecond applications store operational records in SQL Server infrastructure selected and controlled by the customer organisation. Billisecond does not copy that operational database into a Billisecond-hosted cloud service, and this public WordPress website does not connect to it. Application administrators remain responsible for access, retention, backups and lawful handling within their environment.
