From entries to draft

Five deliberate steps.

  1. 01Select the period

    Use a calendar month or an exact date range.

  2. 02Choose the client

    Select the business and client whose work is being billed.

  3. 03Import entries

    Bring the matching billable timer entries into a draft.

  4. 04Review the draft

    Check descriptions, hours, rates, GST and matter allocation.

  5. 05Produce the output

    Save the shared draft and create the required file.

Detached draft lines

Edit the invoice, not the timesheet.

Imported lines are detached copies. Changing a description, quantity, rate or matter in the invoice draft recalculates the invoice without altering the saved timer entry behind it.

Drafts are stored centrally. Version checks prevent one authorised invoicing user from silently overwriting another person’s newer draft.

Matter structure

Organise work the way the client expects.

Group entries under matters, reorder those matters and retain a subtotal for each section. Entries without a matter remain ordinary date-ordered lines rather than receiving a made-up heading.

  • ABN, payment terms and remittance details.
  • Client-specific narration and category-rate settings.
